Luis Alcoser is General Manager of Future Energy at Chevron Technology Ventures, where he leads the Future Energy Fund investing in hydrogen, CCUS, mobility, energy storage, distributed power, energy efficiency, carbon markets, and circular economy. With 14 years in venture capital and innovation, he has driven origination, evaluation, piloting, scaling, commercialization, and spinouts of emerging technologies across energy, digital, and hard tech sectors. Prior to entering venture capital, he spent 15 years in senior engineering, operations, and technology roles at BP, Shell, Noble Energy, and Schlumberger, leading upstream projects across the U.S., Gulf of Mexico, Angola, Malaysia, Russia & Israel.
