Erika Velazquez is Head of Market Development – Europe at Hitachi Energy, where she leads regional growth strategy, sustainability, marketing, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate the energy transition across European markets.
She brings over 15 years of leadership experience in energy and technology, with a strong track record in business development, innovation, and scaling strategic partnerships. Prior to Hitachi Energy, she held senior roles at ABB Electrification, most recently driving venture clienting and disruptive growth initiatives.
Erika holds degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London, and has completed executive education at IMD Business School.
