Hiroshi Nerima is Executive Officer at Nabtesco Corporation, overseeing open innovation and corporate venture activities. He is also Managing Partner of Nabtesco Technology Ventures, its Zurich-based CVC arm, since 2018. He co-authored Practice of Private Equity Investment and contributes to publications on corporate venturing. Previously, he held roles in investment banking (IBJ/Mizuho), strategy, M&A, and business development in Japan’s deep-tech sectors. He has lectured in the MBA program at ICS, Tokyo. He holds degrees from HBS (AMP), ICS (LL.M), and Keio University (BA). A native Japanese speaker, he is fluent in English, conversational in German, and passionate about opera and violin.
