Damien Sauer is Managing Director and Chairman of Nomura Greentech EMEA, based in Zurich. With over 25 years of experience, Damien advises on M&A and capital raising for European financial institutions, companies, utilities, and industrial groups. He has led over 25 deals in renewable energy, agtech, and energy efficiency, including fundraising for Innovafeed and the sale of Kronos Solar. Damien previously held key roles at AREVA, where he expanded the company’s portfolio and executed major transactions, and co-founded the M&A department at MGT. He holds an MBA from London Business School and degrees in Finance, Accounting, and Mathematics from the University of Paris Dauphine.
