Richard is Investment Director at Aramco Ventures in the UK, covering the European market for venture capital investments from Aramco Ventures’ $1.5 billion Sustainability Fund, with a current focus on technologies related to industrial decarbonisation and low carbon fuels. Richard is involved in all parts of the investment process from origination to exit, and sits on the board of several portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Aramco Ventures in 2014, Richard worked at BASF Venture Capital after holding various technical positions within BASF. Richard has a Masters and PhD in chemistry from the University of St. Andrews and is an alumnus of The University of St. Gallen and INSEAD.
